Our mission is to empower people from all backgrounds to have intimacy with God and influence for His kingdom. One of the key tools that God gives us to have influence in people's lives is prayer. We believe that God invites us to engage in worship and intercession in order to effect spiritual reality for people and entire communities. Please join us as we learn about how to pray for people with confidence, courage, and biblical wisdom.

There will be separate sessions for elementary children, youth, and adults led. Our speakers are as follows:

LISA ENGDAHL - Adult Sessions
Lisa serves as the Co-General Director of Servant Partners, one of PAVC's partner organizations who sends, equips, and trains those who want to share their lives with the urban poor and see urban slums transformed. Lisa is involved in local ministry in Pomona as well while she oversees their Member Care Ministry and Leadership Development initiatives. Lisa has shaped leadership in the area of prayer ministry and spiritual formation within Servant Partners.

ELLIOTT KWONG - Youth Sessions
Elliott serves as the Worship Pastor at San Jose Christian Alliance Church and previously served as the Youth Pastor at Queens Herald Church in New York while completing his Masters of Professional Studies in Christian Ministry and Church Development at Alliance Theological Seminary. Elliott’s passion is in calling people into deeper, holier relationship with God. He loves speaking to young people, to shake them from the “Christian normality” and status quo, and desires for people to become Spirit-filled lovers of God through the ministry of intercession and prophetic worship.

SANDY KANG - Elementary Children Morning Session
Sandy serves as the Director of Children Ministry at San Jose Christian Alliance Church and the Director of Gateway Preschool Academy in San Jose. She has a M.A. in Religious Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. There, she met her life partner Ted, with whom, together, she has the privilege of raising four beautiful daughters. Raising young children at home, she began to dream and strategize how to make an impact in her children’s generation. This led her to birth Gateway Preschool Academy in the Fall of 2011. Since then, she has been involved in the spiritual formation and development of children and families both at the preschool and at the church.

Childcare will be provided all day for infants and toddlers, and for children who attend the afternoon. Lunch is included for all who register. The price for this conference covers food, childcare, and honorariums to our speakers.

Please be sure to register for each member in your family/group by selecting "Save & add another person" at the bottom of the page before moving forward to payment.
